What is Neighborhood Time Exchange?

Neighborhood Time Exchange provides selected artists with studio space, a monthly stipend, and basic tools and supplies.
In exchange for time in the storefront studio, the artists contribute volunteer time to work with residents on their ideas to enhance their neighborhood.

Narrate – Photography Workshop

In rapidly changing communities, it is critical that residents recognize the power in creating and sharing their own narratives. In the upcoming 4-Week Workshop, Neighborhood Time Exchange’s Photographer-in-Residence, Ken McFarlane is challenging community members to use a camera to document themselves - the individual behind the lens, and their family and community in front of the lens.

Neighborhood Time Exchange invites you to dream big.

Neighborhood Time Exchange is now open! Residents of the Belmont, Mantua, Mill Creek, Saunders Park, and West Powelton neighborhoods zfd encouraged to stop by our studio on Second Fridays to share their ideas for improving the community. Our resident artists will work directly with neighbors to help plan and implement their projects. From fix-ups to clean-ups, youth workshops to helping seniors – no project is too small!
