Art, for me, has always been therapeutic and reflective. In moments of sadness, stress, or loss of control, I always found comfort in my ability to create something beautiful. My practice is to render figurative and inanimate subjects with care and respect and situate them in juxtaposing, chaotic environments. My work speaks to philosophical ideas of microcosms and macrocosms and my focused attention to detail allows me to transcend into a meditative space where I can escape the physical environment around me.
